Longxi Northwest Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. was founded in June 2016 as a state-owned enterprise in Gansu Province, under the umbrella of China Aluminum Corporation's wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhonglu Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd.

A hefty initial investment of 1.5 billion RMB spearheaded the construction in March 2008, with full production achieved in 2012. Moreover, the company operates 26 high-precision aluminum foil annealing furnaces to guarantee stable annealing for large quantities of aluminum foil products.
